Here I'm working on the 12r. I took the gas tank off, put a fuel pump on it, and replaced the air filter with a K&N earlier. This time I removed the hokey control line and put on a model airplane snap-on control cable. It's a plastic tube that I ran inside automotive brake line (for protection and stiffness) and then ran the aircraft control cable inside.

IMG_0013.jpg This is the REALLY good part. The solder-on clip that is spring loaded so you can't lose a screw on the river.
IMG_0014.jpg The other end is plastic that screws in and out for adjustment, I chose to put that inside in case it gets dropped.
