UH-18: Dashboard

Dashboard Day. The work is already done at this point.

I took five layers of 1/8 plywood that were maybe an inch and a half wide. I epoxied them very well and stuck them under the dash board right on the edge. Make sure your dashboard line is straight before you do this.

I was suspicious until I looked at Bill's racer. He used four layers and it was very strong. It also made a convenient handle all along the edge. I added a layer because my dash is wider than his. It turned out to be about the same amount of stiffness.

I guess I took these just in case something got more done in there.
