OK, Here I'm back into the picture. The craft right side up again, and I'm fixing the top to a certain degree.

A shot of the rear part, including the exhaust hole. A prior engine had a cylindrical exhaust that was parallel to the engine. My current one takes a much bigger exhaust, so I patched the rear part in order to get some cockpit strength back.

Also in this photo you can see my funnel. It's a 2-liter pop bottle cut off, and I screwed the lid to the bottom of a cross member with two screws. When I need a funnel I unscrew it and wipe it out, and it's there. Never lose it.

Here I patched the motor mount hole, after adding new T nuts.
This is new. It's a support for the front of my thrust engine exhaust. The fiberglass is far stronger than any other part of my hull, so I expect it'll stay there this time.
The whole rear deck of my craft is rotten on the top. However, since I was only going to do "minimal" fixes to get it running while I finish my uh-18, I didn't do anything significant. Here you see a big patch of 1/8 plywood I slapped down to hold the silencer up. In order to get this craft into pretty good shape, you'd have to take the duct off and the rear deck, and replace the whole works. Not that much effort now, though. I'll probably do it.
